THE CRAFT
Woven by hand, one pearl at a time
Every House of Keshi piece begins with pearls the ocean makes only by chance. Keshi pearls grow without a nucleus, shaped entirely by the oyster and the sea — so no two are alike, and none can be made to order.
The atelier
In our atelier, each design is strung and woven entirely by hand. Our signature collar is worked from tens of thousands of one-millimetre seed pearls, threaded one by one until the piece moves like fabric and contours to the body. A single necklace can take weeks to complete.
Finished in solid 18k gold
Clasps, settings and details are cast in solid 18k gold, often set with sapphires and diamonds. Nothing is plated; nothing is rushed. Each piece is made to be worn, and passed on, for generations.
Seventy years of pearls
Our family has gathered the rarest Japanese Akoya and South Sea Keshi since the 1950s. As these pearls have grown scarce, that patient collection has become something that simply could not be assembled today — and the quiet foundation of everything we make.
