Caring for Your Keshi Pearls

Pearls are organic gemstones that thrive with a little extra attention. Follow these simple steps to ensure your 18k gold and Keshi pearl necklace remains a family heirloom.

1. The "Last On, First Off" Rule

Pearls are sensitive to acids and chemicals. Always apply your perfume, hairspray, and lotions before putting on your necklace. At the end of the day, remove your pearls first to avoid snagging them on clothing.

2. Gentle Cleaning

After each wear, wipe your pearls with a soft, lint-free cloth (like microfiber). This removes body oils and perspiration that can dull the luster over time.

Note: Never use ultrasonic cleaners, steam, or harsh detergents on pearls.

3. Smart Storage

Store your necklace in the provided jewelry pouch or a soft-lined box. Keep it separate from harder gemstones like diamonds or sapphires, which can scratch the delicate surface of the pearls and the 18k white gold finish.
